Feeling disconnected from your favorite college football teams after you graduated? Now you don’t have to stick around your university to get access to Longhorn and SEC games. Dish Network is adding the Longhorn Network and the SEC Network to its sports channel line up, thanks to an agreement with Disney and ESPN.
SEC network features programming and games covering the Southeastern Conference and will be available in DISH American Top 120+ and any higher tier packages, with a debut on August 14th, 2014. The Longhorn Network is the Texas Longhorn’s 24/7 dedicated channel and is currently available on the Top 120+ and higher tiers.
ESPN has a 20 year agreement to broadcast these stations nationwide, so you don’t have to worry about missing out on your college teams for a long time. The SEC network is planning on showing football, basketball, baseball, and women’s basketball. In addition, original content related to the SEC is also included on this network. The Longhorn Network features 20 sports, along with academic programming that encompasses the Longhorn culture.
